第三章
(Musashi exits his room and proceeds to the Dojo. Inside, Musashi talks
to Master Mew.)
(武藏去到道场找Mew对话。)
Mew: Ah, where you been? Today, I teach you art of using enemy"s
strength against him. It called "Counterattack." You watch me, and
duplicate if you can!
Mew:啊，你去哪里了？今天我教你借力打力的技巧。这招叫做“反击术”。你仔细看着并尝试“效仿”。
(Musashi uses his duplicating ability on Master Mew and then, Musashi
has successfully mastered Counterattack ability.)
(武藏使用“效仿”技能，成功掌握了“反击术”。)
Mew: Good for you, duckling! You improve. You can neow defend and
counterattack whenever you duplicate techniques you already know.
Reduplicate foes many times. You see.
Mew:小子，不错！你进步了。你现在可以使用“效仿”技能进行反击，而且能反复使用“效仿”。
Musashi: Thanks! You"re the cat"s meow!
武藏：谢谢！你真的是猫的典范！(这里的meow估计是学Mew把now发成Neow的发音把mirror发成这个音。)
Mew: Neow go! Make me proud, tiger cub.
Mew:去吧，若狮，让我为你而自豪。(本来是“幼虎”不过想起了《棋魂》的若狮子战。)
(Musashi then proceeds to Academy. Inside, Musashi talks to Mrs.
Tilsit.)
(武藏之后去到学堂。里面武藏与Tilsit老师交谈。)
Mrs. Tilsit: Hi, Musashi! School is back in session, but I"m still
missing two of my star pupils. I have a feeling you"d like to meet
them. They"re the twin Maidens of Fire.
Tilsit老师：HI,武藏！学校终于能再开学了，但还是缺了我两个明星学生。我觉得你需要找他们，因为她们是孪生的火之巫女。
Musashi: You serious?
武藏：当真？
Mrs. Tilsit: But of course! Mirabo and Maribo are their names, and
they"ve been absent for some time now. Would you please try to find
them for me?
Tilsit老师：当真。她们叫Mirabo和Maribo，她们已经缺课有一段时间了。你能帮我把她们找回来吗？
Musashi: I"ll try to hand them in on time.
武藏：我会马上把她们带给你的。
Mrs. Tilsit: Good answer! I heard they went in the direction of Mt.
Terroir, a volcano that"s shown signs of activity recently. The locals
claim that something has angered the volcano"s spirit. The twins
apparently set out to appease it. Though young, they are devoted to
their duty and to each other. As you may have heard, their powers only
manifest when they are together. Oh, I wish I could have talked them
out of going. I hope they"re all right!
Tilsit老师：说得好！我听说他们去了“地脉山”的方向，那是最近有活跃迹象的一座火山。当地人传说有什么东西激怒了火山之灵。那对孪女显然是去平息它。
虽然很年轻，但是她们互相都愿意为她们的使命奉献。或者你已经听闻了。她们的力量只有当她们在一起的时候才能显现。如果她们去之前我能跟她们聊聊就好了。希望她们平安。
(Mt.Terroir原来我翻译成“大地山脉”发现不太能够表达好意思，所以改成“地脉山”)
(After a brief pause...)
(短暂停顿后……)
Mrs. Tilsit: I"m sure they don"t call it Mt. Terroir for nothing. Do
take care!
Tilsit老师：我敢肯定，既然被叫做“地脉山”肯定不简单。你一定要小心。
(Musashi proceeds to Banon"s Office and tells him he wants to go to Mt.
Terroir. Musashi arrived in Mt. Terroir. Musashi moves on and on his
way, he frees Hosomaki, Trixie and Broccio from the capsules. Later,
Musashi finds the crater where Mirabo is held.)
(武藏到Banon的办公室往“地脉山”出发。到达后武藏一路前进，沿途救出Hosomaki, Trixie和Broccio。之后武藏找到Mirabo关押所在的火山口。)
Musashi: Hang in there! I"ll get you out!
武藏：坚持住，我现在就救你出去！
(Musashi tries to release Mirabo from the capsule.)
(武藏试图从容器里救出Mirabo)
Musashi: Hrm, it won"t open.
武藏：啊，打不开。
Riesling: Hey, stop! What"s the big idea?
Riesling：喂！停手！你想搞什么鬼？
(Musashi turns around and saw Riesling, the Ninjaroids and Galvabots
from distance.)
(武藏转身看到Riesling，机器忍者和轻电机器人)(Galvabots，是用Galvani电流发现者命名的，就是游戏里面圆圆的那种胖机器人。后面出现还有其进化版“伏特机器人”我会译成“强电机器人”，希望大家能接受。)
Riesling: Don"t touch that!
Riesling：别碰那里！
(Musashi turns the other way.)
(武藏返其道而行。)
Musashi: Guess I"ll have to cut it down.
武藏：我想我应该砍掉这东西。
Riesling: I said, don"t touch...
Riesling：听不到吗，我叫你别碰……
(Riesling pauses for a very brief moment.)
(Riesling停了很长时间)
Riesling: Wait a minute. You"re that Moo Slashie guy, aren"t you?
Riesling：等等。难道你就是那个“亩”藏？
Musashi: Hey there. Tell me how this works.
武藏：喂，教教我这东西怎么弄？
Riesling: Haha! What a pinhead! Don"t you know we"re enemies? No way am
I gonna tell you that!
Riesling：哈哈！小毛头！你不知道我们是敌人吗？我是绝对不会告诉你的！
Musashi: What"s your--! Oh, I get it. You don"t know, either.
武藏：你这XX！喔！我明白了，你也不知道。
Riesling: Ha! I do too! I run this place! I"m Riesling, director of...um,
uh, security for Gandrake. I"m wicked popular!
Riesling：哈！我当然知道！这里是我管的！我叫Riesling，Gandrake企业呃……“保安”部门的主管。我可是非常有名的！
Musashi: Wow, so you"re the man. Props to you, dude. That"s so cool!
武藏：哇，原来你这么有来头的。真的非常荣幸，大哥。太厉害啦！
Riesling: Heh, yeah...I guess.
Riesling：哈，啊，对，对。
Musashi: So you must know all about this machine!
武藏：那你一定很了解这台机器！
Riesling: This? It"s a..."pyroclastic, uh, modulator." The
manual"s...uh...missing, but the machine is supposed to use the maidens"
powers to stop the volcano.
Riesling：那东西？它是，呃……“火山，呃，调节器”。说明书，被弄，呃，“丢失”了。但应该是利用巫女的力量来镇压火山的。(他终于有一句这么通顺的了。)
Musashi: Really? Naw, I"d forget about it if I were you. It won"t work.
Haven"t you heard? There are two Maidens of Fire, and you need both of
"em to do anything!
武藏：当真？哪，如果是我，肯定记不住。但它应该不能正常运作。你有没有听说过。有两个火之巫女，你需要她们在一起才能发挥作用的。
Riesling: You can"t fool me! Maiden magic is plenty powerful. What do
we need two of "em for? (to the Ninja Lab Tech) ALL RIGHT, PEOPLE! FIRE
IT UP!
Riesling：你骗不了我的！巫女的力量那么强调，我干嘛要两个？(对忍者研究员)好的，各位！干掉他！
Musashi: Uh-oh!
武藏：噢，噢！
(The Ninja Lab Tech activates the control and the machine capsule with
Mirabo in it activates, but then...)
(忍者研究员开动了Mirabo所在的机器，然后……)
Musashi: What was that?
武藏：怎么了？
Riesling: Hey! What"s going on?
Riesling：嘿！发生什么事情了？
Ninja Lab Tech: I don"t know! It"s out of control! The core power is
going haywire! We may have miscalculated...
忍者研究员：我不知道！它失控了！核心能量絮乱！我们可能误算了……
(The bottom structure of the machine capsule dropped into the lava and
then, the capsule shatters and Mirabo came out and landed on Musashi"s
arms.)
(机器底座开始崩溃，掉进了岩浆里面。然后容器裂开，Mirabo从容器摔下，又掉进了武藏的怀里。)(咦，我怎么又说“又”呢？)
Musashi: What"s that roar?
武藏：那是什么声音？
Riesling: Guess we"ve woken up the beast. We"re outta here. I"m leaving
cleanup duty to you!
Riesling：我们可能弄醒了那只怪兽了。我们得马上离开了。收拾的任务就交给你了！
(Riesling, the Ninja Lab Tech and the Ninjaroids left the scene. Later,
Musashi places Mirabo down to the floor.)
(Riesling，忍者研究员，机械忍者离开。之后武藏把Mirabo放到地上。)
Musashi: So you"re a Maiden of Fire?
武藏：你就是火之巫女？
(Later...)
(稍后……)
Mirabo: That"s right. My name"s Mirabo. Who are you?
Mirabo：对，我是Mirabo。你是谁？
Musashi: I"m Musashi!
武藏：我是武藏！
Mirabo: Whoa, you"re Musashi? I wasn"t expecting someone so young and
handsome! Hmm... Yes, you"ll do nicely.
Mirabo：喔，你就是武藏？想不到你是这么年轻和英俊！嗯……对了，你会～很～温～柔～的吗？
Musashi: Wh-what? Are you okay?
武藏：什，什么？你没事吧？
Mirabo: Yep, I"m fine! See, I can"t use my maidenly powers unless
Maribo is with me. I"ll bet that"s why that machine didn"t work!
Mirabo：啊，我没事！如你所见，Maribo不在我完全不能使用巫女的力量。我想这就是那台机器不能运作的原因。
Musashi: Yeah, you may be right. So where is she?
武藏：嗯，也许正是这样。那么她到底在什么地方？
Mirabo: Who knows? They carted her off somewhere without a word.
Mirabo:谁知道？他们一声不响就把她运走了。
Musashi: Hmm... I"ll check up on her soon as I can. First, let"s get you
home.
武藏：唔……我会尽快找到她的。在此之前，我先送你回去。
Mirabo: Okay!
Mirabo：好的！
(Mirabo suddenly kneeled to the floor.)
(Mirabo突然跪在地上。)
Mirabo: Oh, no! I can"t take a single step!
Mirabo：噢，不好了啦！我一步都走不了！(感觉有点假……)
Musashi: Are you serious?
武藏：不会吧？
Mirabo: Honest! I feel so drained from that terrible machine they stuck
me in! Help me out, would you? Please?
Mirabo：真的！我可能被那个鬼机器里面消耗得太厉害了！你会帮我出去的吧？好啦？
Musashi: Oh, all right. Buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life!
武藏：噢！来吧。系好安全带准备你的亡命之旅！
Mirabo: Yay!
Mirabo：好嘢！
(Musashi carries Mirabo and returns to Antheum. In Antheum, Musashi
brought Mirabo back to the Academy.)
(武藏把Mirabo带回了Antheum的学堂。)
Musashi: Well, don"t you have something to say?
武藏：你不是有些话要跟大家说的吗？
Mirabo: (I"m sorry, Mrs. Tilsit.)
Mirabo：(Tilsit老师，对不起。)
Musashi: We can"t hear you.
武藏：我们听不清楚哦。
Mirabo: (bows) I"m sorry, Mrs. Tilsit!
无咩：(大声)Tilsit老师，对不起！
Mrs. Tilsit: We"ve been worried sick! Where is your sister?
Tilsit老师：我们担心死了！你妹妹在哪里？
Mirabo: The men from Gandrake took her away.
Mirabo:Gandrake的人把她带走了。
Mrs. Tilsit: Oh, dear!
Tilsit老师：噢，天啊！
Musashi: No worries, teach. I"ll save her!
武藏：老师，不用担心。我会把她救出来的！
Mrs. Tilsit: Yes, please do! (to Mirabo) Mirabo, you may be a Maiden of
Fire, but you"re still just a child. Promise me you"ll stay out of
danger!
Tilsit老师：全靠你了！(对Mirabo)Mirabo，或者你是火之巫女，但你只是个孩子。答应我你以后不要在做这么危险的事情！
Mirabo: Yes, Mrs. Tilsit. I"ll steer clear of danger.
Mirabo：知道了，老师。我会躲得远远得了。
Mrs. Tilsit: Good girl! Then this is all just water under the bridge.
Now, I want you to write a ten-page essay titled "There"s No Place Like Home."
Tilsit老师：乖孩子！那么这次得事情就一笔勾销吧。现在我要你去写一篇10页的作文《没有其他地方比家里好(安全)》
Mirabo: Huh? Wait a sec! Didn"t you just say this is water under the
bridge?
Mirabo:吓？等等！你刚才不是说一笔勾销的吗？
Mrs. Tilsit: That was mercy. This is discipline.
Tilsit老师：那是仁慈，这是惩罚。
Mirabo: Aw!
Mirabo：啊！
Mrs. Tilsit: Thank you so much, Musashi. This incident has reminded me
what it means to be a teacher.
Tilsit老师：太感谢你了武藏。这件事告诉了我作为一个老师意味着什么。
Musashi: Well, they say that there"s no better way to learn than to be a teacher.
武藏：对啊，俗话说，没有比当一个老师更好的学习方法了。
Mrs. Tilsit: Exactly. Oh, that reminds me. We"ve always been told this
should go to a hero in a time of crisis. I"m not sure what this is for,
but I want you to have it. I"m sure it will come in handy. I"d say you
fit that description.
Tilsit老师：不错。噢，这提醒了我。老人家们常常说，在危险的时候我们把这东西给一位英雄。我不知道这东西有什么用，但我想把它给你。我肯定它会有用的。因为你很符合他们提到的英雄的条件。
(Musashi receives Huge Gloves.)
(武藏取得“巨大的手套”。)
Musashi: Thanks! (to Mirabo) You listen to your teacher, got it?
武藏：谢谢！(对Mirabo)你要听老师的话，知道吗？
Mirabo: I"ll do my best!
Mirabo:我会尽量的！
Mrs. Tilsit: You"d better!
Tilsit老师：希望如此！
Mirabo: Ahahaha!
Mirabo:啊哈哈哈！
